Hello skiers,
Mostly smiles on the hill today, as we cut up the north facing slopes. East and West Palisades, D7, D6, Peril Ridge, Pete’s Peril, Art’s Knob, High Yellow, The Face, Quin’s Chute, Sympathy, and all the groomed runs were in excellent winter condition. A bit of a warm breeze was blowing this morning, but not enough to close down and lifts. We took our first ride up the new Sherwood Lift this morning. The ride is soft and fast. We clocked the ride at under four minutes. Unfortunately the snow was not good off piste. Warm sun had turned yesterday mornings powder to tricky, soft, spring snow. We did have a couple of nice spring runs on the groomed area. The sun is out, the temperature in the 40's, and most of the skiing is great.
