<p>Last weekend the Cho Oyu team came together to make a ski tour in past week's fresh snow. As the snow was already five days old, we had to look for good north slopes for powdery downhills. As we had Pierrot with us this was not a problem at all. He knows the Haute Savoie better than anyone and came up with a nice tour around the dent d'Oche (of which we climbed the north face together this summer - foto). <br />

Altogether the tour had about 1700 altimeters in climbing and all the downhill we had was on north slopes. <br />

The first downhill was nice, but not very deep. The second downhill started a bit icy but ended in deep powder within the woods, giving an extra thrill.</p>
